Who is this course for? What are the requirements?
This course is for everyone who wants to get into one of the biggest industries in the US and become a trucking dispatcher. Zero experience required. Intermediate English level, motivation and willingness to learn is highly suggested.
How much do dispatchers make?
Your experience and desire to become better at what you do are the only limiting factors. Normally you will start at around $500-700/week. But as you gain more knowledge and experience, your salary will also go up. Dispatchers with 1+ years of experience can earn $80,000+ a year by efficiently utilizing their skills.
What will I learn in this course?
You will learn all the necessary skills needed to get you started as a dispatcher. Different types of dispatching, equipment and cargo, how to find and book freight, route planning. We will also show you different types of documents used in trucking, how to fill them our and look up the information, show you the actual booking process and so much more. In short, you will be able to get the job done after this course.
Do you teach how to open a trucking business?
As of this moment our “Business course” in under development. If you leave us your contact information, we will notify you as soon as this course becomes available. However we will be able to provide you with contacts to companies who are working specifically with trucking businesses and also help with opening new entities.
Can you guarantee a job after taking this course?
We are a dispatching school and can’t guarantee you an employment. However, your success is our #1 priority and we do work with few different trucking companies who are willing to offer our students a dispatching job. This list is constantly expending as we’re adding more partners regularly. So if there is an opening, we’ll make sure to contact you.
Can I do dispatching from home?
Some companies do allow that, some don’t. Each and every one is different. We strongly recommend to start at a company office, so you can see how other dispatchers work and learn. Learn as much as you can. Once you feel comfortable working completely on your own, you can without a doubt find a company that will allow it. Or, if that’s your plan, open your own.
Do you provide post-training support?
We do provide a full post-training support for our students. Will it be concerning the course itself, a new job or duties, or if you would simply have a question for us, we will be happy to help you!
